Why Lichess is not so good than Chess.com or Playok.com?

Robkin, I believe by "I$$" BearJr is referring to ICC, the Internet Chess Club; it is a chess server that requires a paid subscription ($10 a month or $70 a year among other plans). It also likes to pay masters to promote it.

ICC famously has a much-maligned desktop client (the only way you can play on it, AFAIK) with a horrendous interface.
thanks, Hellball, of course I know ICC, just thought some mysterious site is new on the chess planet, lol
There's also a site called "velocity chess", with a betting option (with "virtual money") and full customization of the board, but imo it's not such a big deal. Lichess still the very best =B^)
Lichess is free
Lichess not overrun with ads (no ads at all)
Lichess makes features available to all - not just those who can afford it. There are no annoying nag mechanisms (limit on games, how many messages you can type) to encourage you to donate/upgrade.
Lichess keeps innovating - adding new features and/or removing old that don't work. And does this quicker than any other site.
Lichess developers are very detail oriented and try to make everything work "just right"
Lichess listens to the community about what it wants - but also balances this with a good sensibility on which ideas make sense and which don't.
Lichess looks good - a nice minimalist approach that puts the focus on chess and ease-of-use - not a myriad of (ugly, half-baked or complicated) functionality
... and one senses the lichess team has a high level of personal and professional integrity. They don't have to compromise on their vision for the sake of investors and "monetization", so they are free to make the product they want, exactly how they want it.

I have never liked chess.com - the ads, the functionality, the game-play or its very raison d'être: basically landed on a "good" domain name and just try to milk that luck with an onslaught of ads instead of actually doing anything innovative or appealing.

I pretty much only play on lichess these days and I am sure I could think of other good reasons - but that's about it for now :D

Oh... and now that I am submitting this post, the chess CAPTCHA. That is just a brilliant idea :P

For my two cents Lichess is an outstanding site to play chess and ditto on what goldilocks said!
I agree with all the previous comments. Lichess is the best chess site by a country mile...and getting better all the time.
@BearJr
I have used an engine on Chess.com and had problems breaking 2100 - At the time it was Houdini which was ranked amongst the top. I did so by letting the engine calculate a position for at least 1 hour but it usually was 3-4. I lost a lot and wound up with several draws. On here at least, the cheat detection worked and much less "proof" was needed when even reporting myself. However, no site is impervious to the overlay method of cheating and I have no idea how to stop that.
Lichess is nearly perfect. It just needs more players on peak hours. Right now we get about 2000+ which is pretty good. But 5000+ would be better.
The chess.com is better over lichess as it offer:
better move list, you can analyse after the game others variation
better tactis exercise, with option after the exercise to analyse the position and with other variation
chess mentor, a must, for beginners and advanced users, never seen something like this elsewere,
video for learning,
and a better looking chessboard
chess.com for learn chess is very good (but you must pay) if you only need to play i prefer lichess.org, also the option to analyse your game with engine is very good and fast, the only very bad is that you can't add variation.
"better move list, you can analyse after the game others variation"

This is very near the top of our todo list. The PGN viewer in-game is going to be reworked to look a lot better. However the PGN in the Replay and Analyse page will remain the same. The ability to freely analyse variations will become available to the replay and analyse page.

Chess Mentor is a paid application. It's not cheap http://www.chessmentor.com/buy.html . It's a moot point to expect Chess Mentor on a free website. We're developing our own tools to help players learn, but nothing like Chess Mentor. If you want Chess Mentor, buy Chess Mentor.

"video for learning"
Again, lichess is a free website. Not even I get paid, let alone IMs and GMs to make instructional videos for us. There's loads of free YouTube videos out there anyway. ChessNetwork, KingsCrusher, ChessExplained, and many more are excellent free chess learning resources.
