I don't feel too happy about 1000 pound prize pool

Thx a lot for the link but this confirms my opinion, I don't want my money to end up in TA or in national taxes...
We have several employees the taxes on their salaries are obligatory not optional. The TA's remain our most watched regular events. The majority of the community like being able to watch the top players compete.

I mean you could go spend your money elsewhere but it’s going to get taxed pretty much where ever you spend it

You're not a true Griffin either, so don't claim to be one as all you do is take the opposite and generally obtuse view, looking at these posts and others. I actually have had my head smashed in by the gods and survived, so if you're just being difficult for the sake of it ............. maybe have a think before you wade in again!! in the forums. You haven't got your wings so what did this thread really have to do with you anyway? .....and I don't like being referred to as a scrub either just because I'm lower rated, yet again , ratingism

This is my third account I've been on lichess and have donated since day one from joining which has been quite a few years now , aka SchizoSi, aka SOJB ,jtlyk
You didn't need to dox yourself. :)

But the point is the prize funds were a thing before you decided to donate. We feel they are good for the community and our numbers indicate they are very popular with the community. You are welcome to not donate if you disagree with some of our decisions. There are millions of users we will never be able to please everyone all the time.

It's fine, in the bigger picture, I guess it doesn't really matter . I love lichess. I guess I was just on one, ,drunkenly ranting, sorry ,no worries . Love lichess, free chess for everyone, forever. Keep up the good work. I don't agree with a prize pool but understand , sorry for any offence caused. Yours sincerely SimonBirch xxx

You're* wrong. Yet again claiming you don't know.

Please close this topic now mods for my sanity, thanks xxx
I have stopped my donation, in protest, at titled arena prize pool. If the practice of giving a prize pool to titled players is changed I will happily donate again in the future , yours sincerely Simon Birch xxx
