The importance of Chess Visualisation skills

I think with the advent of AI this will be a common trend for a while, where some people will challenge "how" online content was generated rather than the quality or usefulness of the content itself. Personally as long as the quality is good and the "tone" is nice to read I don't mind.

In this case I didn't see any Chat GPT "footprint" and it all sounded very relatable and extremely useful. With all that being said, thanks so much for this post, it really inspired me to start some visualisation training, you made it sound less daunting and rather exciting.

Thanks, I really enjoyed creating that visualisation course, and for me - I was shocked how on recording what I said, how there were inaccuracies especially when I forced myself to use long notation - saying where the start squares are. So basically even fun mate puzzles can be used for visualisation training - given the solution until the final mate. I thought this whole training regime was "light" and fun compared to what some GMs seem to be doing. I did also try the method of recall of a master game - say 3 moves at a time but this wasn't as much fun in my view. I don't think I will be doing blindfold simultaneous displays any time soon though like Alekhine :)

Kingscrusher has been writing high quality content even before ChatGPT came into existence , maybe you should buy his visualization course or any other of this course and here him speak in real time, his choice of words its good
A bit off topic but have been wondering why you stopped uploading 1hr+ blitz and bullet sessions whether they be from twitch streams or those banter blitz sessions you used to do for chess24 then Lichess? I miss those kind of videos being posted so regularly over a period of a few years and now I find myself having to travel back in time only to re-watch all those old sessions I've already seen. :( I could always download the twitch app and watch you on there but I prefer using third party apps to download YouTube videos to my phone so I can watch them at my convenience with the data turned off whilst I charge my phone, being that my phone charges quicker with data turned off and I'm homeless and use power banks to charge. Sorry to complain just really miss your blitz sessions. Watching those videos really helped improve my game.

Thanks for your appreciation of my live commentary stuff. I much prefer creating courses nowadays in general but will do the occasional stream on twitch. See kingscrusher.tv/ for my courses which I have been working on last 2-3 years.
