Team tournaments

Not necessarily Kapsarov, I know you like making digs (but keep coming back for some reason), harder tasks have been completed in the past and likely will be in the future. Question is, what will benefit the most users? This probably won't. But there is a place for suggestions like this too.

I like the idea of team chess competitions.

Have u ever tried some team sport, like football or basketball? I bet u didn't, when u say that there will be no benefit for the most users. Playing in the team is very fun and interesting, must have a try!

Team chess competitions are popular worldwide.
Chess Olympiad is playing from 1924 to nowadays, and and it is always entertaining event.

#11 That would benefit players not less then any current feature on lichess. Playing? We can do it on 5 different sites, but choose lichess, not because "playing" here is somehow better, but because of minor reasons (for example: friendly community, better interface, a lot of variants to choose from, hourly tournaments). Same goes to every other current feature. I am not saying that you should do that before you finish your current project, but adding that to upcomign features plan would be best decision.

I'd like to play some Team VS Team match.
You can do for example Europe VS America match, with 100 best continental players in each team. There were such matches played on other sites, and they were very fun.
