Why would Black resign here?

http://en.lichess.org/vh9doh512y25

An interesting opening that got to this point, and Black resigns. Curious. Anyone have some analysis as to why this is a lost position, it seemed to me that Black was about to win a rook...
I had to poo
probably a blunder, or maybe he had to go do something.

i do it all the time too D:

Uh...you would just take blacks queen with your knight if he was foolish enough to take your rook, wouldn't you?
He resigned simply because after moving his Queen he is two figures behind, which is more than enough to give up.
He resigned because your move Nf3 was very good.
If he plays Nh1+, you can play Nxh4.
If he moves his queen, you take his knight
The only move is Qg4, but after hxg3 Qxg3+ Ke2, he loses his knight and he has to go back.
why Qh5 or Qh6 isn't considered here? am i missing sth? Qh6 is not that bad imho. at least saving the knight or taking rook for knight. after Qh6, pawn can't capture knight because he'll lose rook or maybe it's his best chance. he has to give away rook for knight. i think it's still playable for black after Qh6 because of white is pretty messed up with his pawns. at therotical point's view both players will have 33pts after knight rook exchange sacrifice.
awfulplayer: after Qh6 hxg3 Qxh1 Nh3 your Queen may be caught with Kf2, Qe2 and Bg2.
yep that's right. Queen and knight for both rooks and there is a lost bishop earlier. He'll be down quite material. it takes so much to bring other black pieces for helping the Queen after h1.
Thank you awfulplayer that is the line I was looking at and wondering if maybe deeper examination might show trouble for Black. I saw the position as even after the knight for the rook, and was thinking I'd have only a very minor trump card in developmental advantage to try to keep the queen from being a nuisance. I think hetatho maybe found the trouble for Black. Good job guys and thank you all!

I figure the real reason for resignation was closest to the "I had to poo" response. lol But I figured this was a neat position to try to analyze to see if it might have been worth a resignation or not. :)
