Do you respect people with lower ELo?

@Checkbaite : because he's a FM, he said it himself. He basically answered your question before you asked it. Such power goes with being a FM.

To answer #1, I obviously only respect FMs, because they are the best.
"They are the heroes lichess deserve, but not the ones it need right now. So we'll hunt them. Because they can take it. Because they are not our hero. they are silent guardians, watchful protectors" - Michael Scott.
That's quite a combo: Wing, FM label, and quotation of some wise guy.
We probably should start asking your autographs.
"Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy, both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me." - Michael Scott.
Everyone should be respected to some extent. Though you should not preach what a 921 tells you and I don't even think you should preach what a 2100 tells you. Preach what you want and for me that is what GM's and IM's say. Though anyone fide titled has a lot of respect in my book for chess opinions.
The very fact that most masters have their challenge preference set to "only accepts challenges if rating is ± 300" goes to show that they do not. It couldn't be more obvious what they're saying: "I won't play you because its a WASTE of my time."
