"how pawnmulch can destroy all the other players, including magnus and hikaru, and all in a weekend"

it is a fictional book somehow.............. like, it fictionally exists, and it's fiction, when it does exist. which it doesn't.

failing that, zurich international chess tournament 1953... it would be interesting to read that, although it seems way above my head... or my 60 memorable games.... that guy is a great writer!!................... bobby in writing is insightful and clear, and surprisingly human.
you probably no a lot more than me --------- but bobby seemed like a total loner. i don't think he took nothing from no one. he seemed extremely independent. but when i was a kid, i read his chess column in boy's life... jeeze, he was so natural and casual in his columns, which were NOT for chess geeks, afaik. sad, really, what happened to him. i think he blew several gaskets.
I'm pretty sure I read that Larry Evans ghosted Bobby's column (at least toward the end).
I guess I'll take the angle of a book I'd really like to read but can't really get my hands on (since if I wanted to read a book currently in print that bad I would probably just read it I guess).

In that case that would probably some of the older (2000-2005ish) Chess Stars Publishing books that are now out of print and are tough to get a hold of (often they go for $100 and up because of scarcity). Some examples would be "Leko's 100 wins", "Shirov's 100 wins", etc.

Also along those lines Garry Kasparov's "The Test of Time" would be nice but from what I can see it goes for about $80 on amazon which is way to much for me lol.
