chess etiquette- rematches

I think the re-match button should be removed. It is bad behavior to ask for re-match if you lost. Get over it and play an another game with someone else.

never ask for re-match and hardly ever accept. Good part of internet chess is that you have plenty of opponents and there is no need to play same person over and over again
Look guys, I'm not saying you have to rematch, I'm just saying you are a bunch of pussies for not rematching.

This discussion has gone too far. Too many quarrels and insults.
If I were a mod , I would close the topic.
Chess is not monogamous. You don't put a ring on someones finger, and promise to only play chess with them... It's a game of sluts. Sometimes you get a friend with benefits you play a bunch of times, but other times you are stuck with you one night stand.
In my club when one person lose the game he must leave the table and waiting for his turn. In a Open tournament when you lose a game against a opponent you can't play the same opponent again. And finally Capablanca and Alekhine didn't play a new match.

Sorry, but this is chess. In chess people must accept the consequences of their acts and accept the lose. People haven’t a rematch rights (except if you are Botvinnik but Botvinnik was world champion).
Follow Li'l Puppet! It's fun! :) Li'l Puppet will let you play as many times as you wish. I am Li'l Puppet! :)
Did you view the reply which reads "Follow Li'l Puppet! It's fun! :)?" If not, see above reply.
@novaodessa I don't want to insult anyone, but in my vision, your view is pure madness.

And there is countless reasons one would refuse a rematch.
